Major Townsend is currently the newest Company Commander of the fixed wing unit for the Oregon Army National Guard, A(minus) 2-641 AVN REGT. Will and his family recently moved back to Oregon after nine years on active duty as a UH-60 Balckhawk pilot. Will was deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF 10-11). He and his family now life in Beaverton, OR where they plan to stay and raise their three children.
