I wanted to take a moment to thank you for the trip of a life time. The 10 days I spent in New Zealand with AHA and my fellow veterans has been an experience that has changed me for the foreseeable future. There are many things I have, over the years, avoided doing because of the difficulties associated with my injuries. How wrong I was. Physically, I did things on the hunt, the hardest of my life by the way, I no longer thought I was capable of. And, at some points, I even did those things, like climbing incredibly steep mountains, without my medication crutch. The down side is now, I will be spending money every year to go on more trips like this on my own to continue the adventure in life.
Thank you for opening my eyes to new opportunities I thought out of reach.
